Welcome to the Putnam County Museum
2nd Annual Visual Arts Exhibit: Living Local
The 2nd Annual Visual Arts Exhibit: Living Local sponsored by the Greencastle Arts Council was displayed at the Putnam County Museum from July 1–Sept. 26 2021. Over 40 artists’ works were on display, all from Putnam and surrounding counties. Mediums such as painting, photography, woodworking, ceramics, metalworking, and more were used.

A Meet the Artist and Award Reception was held Sunday, September 26 from 2 -4 pm. The activities were made possible in part by Arts Illiana and the Indiana Arts Commission which receives support from the State of Indiana and the National Endowment for the Arts.
The artwork was judged by the following artists: Johnson Simon an MFA graduate from IUPUI Herron School of Art and Design; JinMan Jo, who currently teaches at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point; and Anna Tragesser the Artist and Community Services Manager at the Indiana Arts Commission.
