Support

All of the Museum's work is supported by the generosity of our patrons. Dues and donations are the main source of the Museum's operating funds. The Museum does not receive governmental support. Thank you for anything you can offer to help us continue to bridge generations, connect communities, and preserve the past.

90 donors were honored at the 2014 Donor Appreciation Day celebration at the Museum.

Donate to the operating fund

Donations in any amount are always welcome. A gift of $35 will cover the Museum's utility bills for one day and a gift of $350 will cover all of the Museum's expenses for one day.

Donate to the Endowment

Established in 2004, the Museum's endowment, in care of the Putnam County Community Foundation, has grown steadily thanks to the generosity of our supporters. The endowment now contributes nearly 30% of the annual operating budget. Gifts to the endowment will continue to grow and to support the Museum for generations to come.

To make a donation, contact Lisa Mock at the Museum or contact the Putnam County Community Foundation directly.

Share the Dream program

We are now participating in Putnam County Community Foundation's  "Share the Dream" program.  This program began May 1 and guarantees a $0.60 match to every dollar raised by the participating endowments.

Each endowment must receive 10 donations of $25 dollars or more. There will be two additional grants prizes awarded: the endowment that raises the most amount of money, and the endowment that has the most unique donors. Each grant prize is $1,000 and will be awarded directly to the endowment fund to continue to grow and do good, forever.

Share the Dream ends August 1, so give today to the Museum's Endowment!  There are many ways to give. Contributions may be made by cash, check, online, stock, IRA distributions, and more. To obtain additional information about Share the Dream, please contact the PCCF office at 765.653.4978.
