Educational Programs

We hope that the Putnam County Museum can be a great resource for local history in your classroom.  All ages and grades are welcomed for field trips.  Third and fourth grade classes are receiving special invitations, because goals of community history and Indiana history can be easily met with this trip in your own backyard.

Our Education Team, composed of active and retired teachers, has worked to create interesting and varied programs for your students, plus we have linked the information to Indiana Standards for your teaching convenience.  Please plan to book 4 weeks in advance, giving more than one possible date.  Recommended minimum time is 60-90 minutes.  Call 653-8419 for further information.
